Galungan & Kuningan — June 17 & 27, 2026
📍 Island-wide — best experienced in Kerobokan, Canggu & Denpasar
The most extraordinary cultural event you can witness near Canggu. Galungan on June 17 marks the victory of dharma over adharma, when families prepare elaborate offerings and villages adorn streets with tall, arched penjor bamboo poles. Kuningan on June 27 marks the end of the 10-day celebration.
Some of the most stunning penjor displays in Bali can be found at the Kerobokan Festival, which takes place every year during Galungan — just minutes from The Menuai. Borrow one of our bikes, ride through the neighbourhood at sunrise, and soak in an atmosphere unlike anything else on the island.
Bali Arts Festival — June 13 to July 11, 2026
📍 Taman Werdhi Budaya Art Centre, Denpasar (~30 min from The Menuai)
The Bali Arts Festival 2026 runs from 13 June to 11 July in Denpasar, with performers and artists from all of Bali’s regencies presenting traditional dance, music, theatre, and visual arts. It opens with the grand Peed Aya Parade — a procession of dancers and delegations from all eight regencies celebrating Balinese cultural identity through vibrant costumes and traditional instruments. Almost all events are completely free to attend. An easy and unmissable evening excursion from The Menuai.
Ubud Food Festival — May 28–31, 2026
📍 Taman Kuliner, Ubud (~45 min from The Menuai)
The Ubud Food Festival 2026 celebrates its 11th year from May 28–31, delving into Indonesia’s rich culinary past. Chef demonstrations, arak tastings, overflowing market stalls, and live music — all in the hills of Ubud. Most events are free, with tickets for select masterclasses and special dinners. A perfect long-weekend day trip paired with a scenic drive through Bali’s rice terraces
Pure Music Festival Bali 2026
📍 Café del Mar Bali (~25 min from The Menuai)
One of the most anticipated things to do Canggu, Pure Music Festival Bali 2026 will take place at Café del Mar Bali on June 19, 2026. Starting from 2PM until late, this beachfront event blends house and techno into a seamless day-to-night experience.
Headlined by Konstantin Sibold, Rafael Cerato, and Young Franco, the festival delivers a curated sound perfect for sunset sessions and late-night energy. With VIP areas, private suites, and poolside access, it’s more than just music—it’s a full Canggu beach club experience.
For guests staying at The Menuai Bali, this is one of the most exciting upcoming events Canggu to explore just a short drive away.
AFROSONIC FEST 2026
📍 Atlas Super Club, Café del Mar Bali, and Shivanna Bali
Another highlight among things to do Canggu is Afrosonic Fest 2026, happening from July 10–12, 2026. This multi-day festival brings together Afrobeats, Amapiano, and Afrohouse across some of Bali’s most popular venues.
Events will take place at Atlas Super Club, Café del Mar Bali, and Shivanna Bali, creating a dynamic mix of beachfront vibes and high-energy nightlife.
The lineup includes Ruger, Bayanni, and Tshegu, alongside other international Afro music talents. Expect vibrant crowds, immersive music, and a social atmosphere that captures the spirit of Bali’s evolving nightlife scene.
